Probama Theme Released

Category 4 has released what they call Probama, a Wordpress Pro Theme available for free. The theme is made ideally for bloggers who want to focus on his campaign for president and political career. The theme makes brilliant us of the main colors of Obama’s primary site and color scheme. The main layout is two columns, with a four column footer for archives, blogroll, pages, and recent comments, while the sidebar was contains a supporters area.

Bringing wordpress to another level while taking in many of the features of the BarackObama.com website this theme also allow visitors to volunteer, view video, images and also donate.

From a Jamaican point of view, you have to say congrats to Obama for capturing so many americans hearts and dreams. It almost seems like there are only two candidates: Clinton and Obama, and from a distance Obama gives the most inspiration, the guy even now has his own wordpress theme.

Potential uses

For those who aren’t fond of Obama, this theme has a lot of potential for use as a general blog or news site. The flickr, YouTube and audio sections on the home page are fabulous not to mention the four column footer. Other features that are eye catching is the list of recent posts, button styles, flourishes in between posts, date style and dropdown menus.

With a little tweaking this theme can be one hell of a free wordpress pro theme. Get while the stocks last!
